Friday, September 18, 2009

From nymag.com’s Vulture blog:

Making its world premiere tonight at the Toronto Film Festival (9 p.m. at the Elgin Theatre!) is Under the Great White Northern Lights, the new concert film from Earth's hardest-rocking, non-related electric-blues duo the White Stripes. Directed by Emmett Malloy and shot with a pair of sixteen-millimeter cameras, Lights follows Jack and Meg on their first-ever Canadian tour, in support of 2007's Icky Thump, dropping anchor in every territory and province and concluding with the band's tenth-anniversary show in Nova Scotia.
